Review BETRAYAL "Infinite Circles"

No seu primeiro alinhamento, a banda Betrayal foi fundada no início de 2005. A banda começou rapidamente a fazer espéctaculos ao vivo e o reconhecimento foi logo alcançado na região de Aschaffenburg, Bavaria. O primeiro Promo-EP “Of Lust and Loss” saiu em 2007 e foi completamente esgotado na data de lançamento.

Naquela época, o seu estilo foi comparado a bandas como At The Gates, The Black Dahlia, Murder and Misery Index. Apesar de várias mudanças na formação e uma pausa criativa, a banda manteve-se junta e continuou a trabalhar em material novo, com o qual aparece mais madura em comparação com a estréia. Em março de 2015, Betrayal lançou uma demo que deu o pontapé de saida do próximo álbum que saiu em 2016. Quanto a este, a banda está atualmente a usar os estudios Unleash the Sound Studios e é mais que motivo para convencer o público ao vivo, bem como no registro.

Na altura do seu inicio os seus membros eram bastante jovens tinham idades compreendidas entre os 15 e 16 anos. Alex, Vocais + Guitarra e Philipp, Bass começou em torno dos 16 anos, os fundadores Kilian e Manuel começaram a banda com uma idade muito jovem, tinham 15 anos e sentiram a emoção de ser parte da cena do metal, mas principalmente eles só queria tocar música!

O álbum de estréia "Infinite Circles" foi lançado em Junho de 2016. Mesmo que o seu som tenha evoluido desde os primórdios, BETRAYAL permanece fiel ao Death Metal.
BETRAYAL têm uma preferência significativa pelo legado que vem dos U.S. nos primórdios do Dheat Metal, como se ouve rapidamente nas suas canções muitas vezes semelhantes ao Quarteto Alemão.

"The Shell"

Começa com um poderoso som de guitarra e poderosos ataques de contrabaixo. O cantor Alex grita com sua voz poderosa, uma raiva pura que lhe sai das entranhas é abruptamente substituída por uma guitarra e saxofone de melodia acústica suave.

“Infinite Circles”

É o tema que dá o nome ao álbum, está com uma composição fantástica, resalta ao ouvido os riffs de ponto-pedal contraponto, o exuberante trabalho de acordes. É uma canção que estranhamente tem um dialed-back, considerando a natureza bombástica do tema.

“Contamination”

Começa com um bom groove de bateria muito envolvente e incluindo um start / stop de ritmos, e depois rebenta com uns clássicos riff de pedal à moda antiga. A forma como toda a melodia é encaixada é magistral e depois temos todo o solo que consome boa parte da segunda metade que é magistralmente composto.

“Fighting Perdition”

Começa com um potente fiff de Behemoth, com a entrada logo de seguida com um thrash metal, que faz a quebra de salientar o fantastico coro de death metal melódico, que contribui para a imagem de marca da banda.

“Watershed”

Faz um ambiente calmo é um optimo interlúdio, contem um groove hipnótico impulsionado por um riff deslizante. termina com uma melancólica, nota emotiva com guitarras limpas, riffs melódicos.

“Monuments”

É concerteza a música mais straight-up death metal no álbum todo, faz lembrar bandas como The Crown, A Possessed 13, Black Dahlia Murder. É um canto fúnebre sinistro, e tem um dos riffs mais memoráveis na álbum.

“The Awakening”

Esta faixa faz lembrar muito o tema “Fighting Perdition” e não á muito mais a acresentar.

“Order of Chaos”

Uma das obras primas deste álbum. Muito lirica, com muitos riff em todo o seu explendor, do principio ao fim é um hino ao estilo black metal, nota-se muita influencia de Black Dahlia.

Não á defeitos a apontar a este "Infinite Circles", BETRAYAL é uma banda que merece todos os créditos que lhe são atribuidos, jovens como são vão manter-se por muitos anos, vamos ouvir falar muito sobre eles.

Review BETRAYAL "Infinite Circles"

"The Shell"
